Open water, no crowds. Informative and patient guide.
I wish we could’ve gone at night to use the lights on the boards but the owner, let us know there would be high surf and rescheduled us for a morning paddle. Absolutely beautiful morning on the water at Puako.
Great adventure for an experienced paddler, but you don’t need to stand up if you are a newbie. LightSUP boards have a foam pad for kneeling which is very comfortable. The clear panel on the boards give you a clear view down through the water to see the fish and coral beds below you. We learned about the impacts on the coral and saw where it has been damaged and where it is coming back. We learned so much about the coral and the sea life, as well as life on Hawaii.
When we were back on shore they sent us all the photos he had taken of our experience. All terrific photos and a video to boot! We will be back!

Best paddleboard/snorkel tour ever!

 

This was the most amazing experience! We did the morning tour. The paddleboards with the windows are sooo cool - it allows you to see while you're paddling, and for those who don't want to get in the water, it's great for them to see. You do have the option to snorkel, which is incredible.

 

The water was so clear, and we saw turtles and lots of fish. The operators are very knowledgeable, and they provided lots of helpful tips. There was a yummy breakfast at the end of some amazing fruit and banana bread and assorted beverages. We enjoyed it so much we're hoping to do the sunset tour too - highly recommend!
